How the schedule works
Copy the export-calendar iCal link from the listing, add the property in PlanAhead, choose its timezone, and connect the calendar. PlanAhead reads reservation dates and uses checkout information to plan turnover work.
Review the first imported dates before assigning cleaners. A calendar feed is a planning input—not a substitute for checking a last-minute platform message.
- Keep one property timezone for reliable day boundaries
- Use clear house names and access notes
- Assign a primary cleaner and keep a backup
- Check same-day checkout and check-in windows
What it costs
PlanAhead offers Free ($0), Basic ($7.99/month), Pro ($14.99/month), and Unlimited ($24.99/month) plans in the United States. App Store or Google Play shows the final localized price before purchase.
Free is intended for getting started. Paid tiers increase active-house, workspace, and crew capacity; the Unlimited tier removes those ceilings and retains uploaded photos longer.
Limits to understand before relying on automation
PlanAhead is not affiliated with Airbnb, Vrbo, Booking.com, Turno, Breezeway, or Properly. Calendar imports depend on third-party iCal feeds, which can update with a delay. Always keep an operational backup for urgent same-day changes.
A private or expired calendar URL will stop syncing. If a feed is delayed, create or edit the cleaning manually and confirm the change with your crew.
Questions people ask
Frequently asked questions
Does PlanAhead connect directly to Airbnb?
PlanAhead supports compatible iCal calendar feeds. It is not an Airbnb partner integration and does not manage reservations or guest payments.
Can I add a cleaning without Airbnb?
Yes. Manual cleaning dates work for residential jobs, direct bookings, and any property without a connected calendar.
What happens if a reservation changes?
The next successful feed refresh can update the schedule. For urgent changes, verify the booking and update the cleaning manually.
